Christians are grafted into the most prestigious family in the Universe -- God's family (Romans 11.17-24 NIV). God is the maker of all things. He created the cosmos, the heavenlies, the earth, the animals, the plants, humankind and you! This truth is not something to be taken lightly. As members of God's family, we are promised many things:
We are children of God (1 John 3.1). We are co-heirs with Christ (Romans 8.17). We have a promised inheritance (Hebrews 9.15). We have everlasting life (John 6.47). We are forgiven from all our sins (Acts 13.38). We have a God-given purpose (Ephesians 1.11). We have God's Spirit living within us (Acts 1.8). We are able to easily fellowship with God (1 John 1.3). We are given the living Word of God (Hebrews 4.12).
These are just a few of the promises found in the Bible that Christians can claim. We are blessed beyond comprehension. We have eternal life with a God Who is Love, Who is Joy, Who is Glory! We are sanctified (made holy, blessed, set apart for a divine purpose) through Christ!
When we understand that Jesus came to this earth to be our bridge from a sin-filled world to a sinless God and accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior, we are made new in Christ and are given the Spirit of God living within us. We are marked (Eph 1.13). We are set apart (Psalm 4.3). We are holy (Colossians 3.12). We are loved (2 Thessalonians 2.1).
However, we cannot claim these promises unless we know them. The Sanctified Together Compassion and Discipleship Resource is an effort to start a "Sanctification Movement." Our desire is to live as sanctified women. We are not perfect, but we are righteous through Christ! Jesus did the most beautiful act on the cross -- He died so that we could be beautiful in God's eyes. We must boldly come to the throne and claim our victory! We are daughters of the Most High King!
Our Purpose is to encourage and disciple women to live set-apart lives for Christ and to be a light into the world, spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Will you join us in this effort? Will you make it your determined purpose to lead lives that are holy and pleasing to God? We are not of this world. We want to cultivate what makes us different. We want the world to know that we serve an awesome God who calls us His beloved Brides!
Our Plan is to be a place where women can support each other in their sanctification process by doing the following:
1) Writing inspirational articles that edify (instruct, uplift, enlighten) women
2) Supporting women with blog comments and emails
3) Praying for women
4) Coming along side women in their effort to know God more
5) Producing Sanctified Together Email & Online Publication that showcases Christian women's work
6) Allowing God's light to shine in the darkness of the Internet and world
We are excited about all that God has planned for us! We hope that you will use Sanctified Together Resource as a tool to develop your relationship with Christ! We know that ministry is a side note to God's purpose of doing a good work in us. We offer ourselves as obedient servants of Christ, and we dedicate this effort to His service. Amen!
